Hi, I’m Christian Graves, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate passionate about creating a therapy space that feels warm, supportive, and genuinely human. I believe therapy should be a place where you can slow down, feel understood, and safely explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck or overwhelmed.
I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama and completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lenoir-Rhyne University with a focus on trauma informed care. Through both my personal, education, and clinical experience, I have developed a deep passion for helping individuals process difficult experiences, better understand themselves, and build healthier, more connected lives.
I draw from a variety of evidence based modalities, including person centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), relational, and trauma informed approaches. My work is rooted in trauma informed care, with a focus on creating safety, understanding patterns, and supporting meaningful change at a pace that feels sustainable for each client. I also hold a certificate in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which I utilize when clinically appropriate.
My style is warm, collaborative, and steady. I pay close attention to patterns that develop over time and how they show up in thoughts, emotions, and relationships in the present. I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and honest, where clients feel safe enough to be themselves and also gently challenged toward meaningful change.
Currently under the supervision of by Cindy Payne, LPC-S (Texas Lic#: 77840)
Christian works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a broad range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. Her clinical interests include anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, stress management, life transitions, and navigating the lasting impact of difficult experiences while prioritizing growth.
She values taking an individualized approach to care and draws from several evidence-based modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and stage of life. Christian is especially passionate about creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and able to build healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and greater emotional resilience.
